“ Amanda’s has been a Nelson institution for many years, just across the Big Red Bridge (BOB.) They recently moved into the downtown area which makes them much more accessible. Although the menu is typically Canadian Chinese with both western and Asian dishes, the food is always good quality and relatively oil and msg free. If you like lots of fresh vegetables and a variety of protein try the House Special Chop Suey. ”
“ The Wor Won Ton soup is one of the most flavourful we've ever had. The dry garlic pork was delightful as it was very lightly coated and extra garlicky. Those dishes stand out but everything was delicious. For dessert you have to try the chocolate mousse cheesecake no matter what your spouse says. Reasonable prices & very good service. ”
